Artworld UK is the internet trading name of The Bank Street Gallery & Framing, a family owned retail business based in Accrington, Lancashire established in 1982.

This contract is a legal document stating your rights and obligations and those of The Bank Street Gallery & Framing (hereafter referred to as Artworld-UK). These terms and conditions apply every time you, access our site, use our services or make a purchase. Please take a few minutes to read through them.

To enter into a contract with us you must be over the age of 18. You must also complete the purchase by submitting your correct name, address and other details. If you use a credit or debit card you must be fully entitled to use that card at the time when you provide details to us, also there must be sufficient funds available to your card at the time of the transaction to cover the full cost of your purchase. If, for any reason, you make a mistake when entering your details, please contact us with the correct information as soon as you are aware of the error by telephone or email.

When you make a purchase by Credit or Debit card for framed or unframed prints, your card will be processed shortly after we receive your order. Prints are usually dispatched within 5 working days and we aim to deliver framed art and digitally printed canvas prints within 14 days. Prints combined to canvas can take up to 28 days to deliver, depending on the workload of our supplier. The sizes of the artwork shown on the website are supplied by the originators & publishers of the prints, therefore these may vary slightly due to the rounding up of imperial values to cm's. As our frame sizes are generated from this data, the overall size of the finished product may vary slightly due to the rounding up of these figures, Moreover as our frames are hand assembled by expert framers, the overall size of the finished product may also vary due to the positioning of the print in the mount, to produce a perfectly proportioned item.

We describe each print as accurately as we can, but occasionally errors occur for which we apologise. If you notice an error on the website please point it out to us.

Individual monitor settings and artwork/photography combined, mean that the colours you see on the screen are almost certain to vary to some extent from the true colour of the product, this is a limitation of technology at the moment. If the mount colour you choose is critical in a framed print, please ask us to send you a sample before ordering. If when assembling the item we feel that the mount choice or frame is inappropriate for the print we will contact you to suggest an alternate colour or moulding. (Trust us we have framed thousands of prints and we are not just imposing our tastes on you or trying to clear some old stock).

All images, code, text, logos and trademarks contained in this website are subject to copyright by Artworld-UK and their respective owners. All rights are reserved. You must not use, copy, modify or distribute these images or any part of an image, digitally or by any other means without the express permission of the copyright owner.

If you abuse our website Artworld-UK reserves the right to cancel any transaction, particularly where we have reason to suspect that the code of our website has been tampered with to make a fraudulent transaction. Any such abuse or attempted fraud may be reported to the relevant authorities and may lead to prosecution.

Artworld-UK does not knowingly link to obscene, pornographic or illegal sites, and the website links placed on these pages have been done so in good faith. Links are checked on a regular basis, but because the Internet is a rapidly changing environment links may change between checks. Please let us know if you feel something is inappropriate or has been missed.

Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligent acts or omissions we shall only be liable for any loss or damage which is a reasonably foreseeable consequence or breach of this agreement. In the event that you are using Artworld-UK's services in part for commercial purposes then no liability for loss of profits or other economic loss arising out of a breach of this agreement can be accepted.

Artworld-UK reserves the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time by, posting a revised page on our website. The terms of our contract with you will be based upon those terms and conditions current at the time you placed your order.

Artworld-UK is a company registered in England. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. All disputes arising out of your access to this website or any transactions resulting from such use, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We aim to please, however if you have any complaints about our service, please let us know and we will do everything in our power to correct the situation. Happy customers are good for business.
